Fields.Instrumentality.
The NETWORK INTELLIGENCE STUDIES, ISSN-L: 2344-1712 is an official journal of the Romanian Foundation for Business Intelligence. As part of the actions FRIA (Romanian Foundation for Business Intelligence), this journal appreciates the differences and relationships between the university sector and the economic construction field, sharing experiences and diversity.
The Journal hosts articles written by authors from both Academic and Business world or from the administrative field. The acceptance for publication is based on an anonymous and impartial selection procedure and rigorous evaluation of articles by our reviewers. The Journal encourages high scientific research that contributes to broadening the horizon of knowledge in the field of Economics, Management, Marketing, Communication studies, Sociology, Psychology, Commerce and Tourism, Anthropology, Political science, Linguistics, Education, Human geography.
Vision & Mision.inter-, trans-, multi- and crossdisciplinary.
Our Vision. To empower social and economic world to recognize, challenge, and take proactive approaches to collaboration for the individuals, organizations, communities, nations and humanity as a whole.
Our Mission. The “Network Intelligence Studies” program is dedicated to supporting the needs of collaboration for individuals, commercial organizations, faculties, ONG’s, communities, in order to generate valuable and innovative results for humanity as a whole. Our mission is to create a learning environment in which the entire academic community and economic sector would feel more than welcome. Within this charge, and in collaboration with existing universities, economic and social actors, the “Network Intelligence Studies” priority is to provide programs and services to foster discussions on issues related to the creation of a collaborative and innovative conscience.
Dissemination.SEA Conferences.
The selected articles are disseminated in the SEA events series. The SEA (Share. Empower. Awareness.) Conferences aims to bring together academic scientists, business leaders, professionals to exchange and share their creative and innovative ideas, approaches, strategies and research results; discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. SEA is a friendly conference series that aims to encourage and support early careers researchers.
The SEA conferences have the following aims: to act as an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of research ideas; to promote active collaboration amongst researchers from diverse parent disciplines; to provide a framework in which postgraduate students can see their work in a national context. Our Journal aims to become a prestigious forum for interdisciplinary debate, both at theoretical and practical research addressing relevant issues at national, regional and international level.
Our objectives.
The Science of Collaborative and Innovative Potentialcollaborative structures.
Our approach starts from the observation of phenomena and extensive development of collaborative structures at both the individual (by creating communities of “tribes”) and organizational level but especially at the interorganizational level;
Redesign of business processes.
Redesign of business processes from the perspective of using knowledge in collaborative structures, modeling using various techniques and storing models in data warehouses;
Innovation.
Handling collaborative business process knowledge and knowledge created and applied (innovation) in collaborative processes;
Interorganisational innovation.
Promoting the understanding of collaborative processes and their usage as leverages, and how these generate the interorganisational innovation through the informal working relationships between individuals, organizations and institutions, relationships that cross the formal lines of subordination and communication which are structured as networks.
An innovative collaborative research process starts with the creation of communities, networks, generating ideas, production of innovation and it continues with its selling on the market. Also, the aim of the journal is to research and to include the innovative processes in continuous, repetitive innovation systems on a knowledge spiral that includes hypothesis testing, more nuanced and richer description of reality, pointing concepts and their measures and how the research results can be generalized, and how these may lead to a change of management traditional formal theories based on hierarchical structures.
Management processes.
Identification of interorganizational collaborative management processes aimed at achieving a holistic result, a higher result compared with a mechanistic management system based on the amount of organizational knowledge.
Studies in Network Intelligence in general, examine the ability of a collaborative structure consisting of individuals and / or organizations to facilitate better business decisions.
Network Intelligence system is a combination of data, processes, tools and technologies that provide valuable information to assist leaders drafting decisions intended to increase efficiency and profitability, leading to innovation.
From the observation that the boundaries begin to matter less and more and more the communities, NIS journal promotes research and seeks to build a unity between theory and empirical segment of collaborative innovation.
Technical objectives.
This journal aims to develop and evaluate a coherent set of methods to understand behavior in complex collaborative structures. Such large distributed collaborative networks exhibit global behavior arising from independent decisions made by many simultaneous actors, which adapt their behavior. Proposed changes in actor decision algorithms must be examined at large spatiotemporal scale in order to predict network behavior and the innovation production. This presents a challenging problem.
Technical objectives: Establish models and analysis methods that (1) are computationally tractable, (2) reveal macroscopic behavior and (3) establish causality. Characterize distributed control techniques, including: (1) economic mechanisms to elicit desired behaviors and (2) biological mechanisms to organize components.

Publication Ethics.
It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer and the publisher.Data fabrication and falsification. Data fabrication means the researcher did not actually do the study, but made up data. Data falsification means the researcher did the experiment, but then changed some of the data. Both of these practices make people distrust scientists. If the public is mistrustful of science then it will be less willing to provide funding support.
Plagiarism. Taking the ideas and work of others without giving them credit is unfair and dishonest. Copying even one sentence from someone else’s manuscript, or even one of your own that has previously been published, without proper citation is considered plagiarism—use your own words instead.
Multiple submissions. It is unethical to submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time. Doing this wastes the time of editors and peer reviewers, and can damage the reputation of journals if published in more than one.
Redundant publications. This means publishing many very similar manuscripts based on the same experiment. It can make readers less likely to pay attention to your manuscripts.
Improper author contribution or attribution. All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. Don’t forget to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution, including students and laboratory technicians.
